The Story of the Good Luck Band. 

Personally I hate flying. It makes me extremely nervous just thinking about flying 30,000 ft above land.

First, I have no control over whatever happens in the sky and I kinda have to rely 100% on the pilot and his skills and his  mood on that particular day. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. So I wanted a solution for this. A solution that lasts!

This was back in 2016, about 4 years ago. I started googling looking for an answer. I then found an article written by someone who was going through a similar situation. It talks about he designed a necklace with a motivational quote which helped him overcome his anxiety.

It was an “AHA” moment for me. I started to design my own Wristband. I wanted it to last longer so I made it in Rubber. I’m a buddhist so I put “තෙරුවන් සරණයි” on one side and “May the Noble Triple Gem bless you!” on the other side along with the buddhist flag. It looked amazing!

I started wearing this Wristband with pride and I started to feel different. I felt there’s something bigger than me protecting and looking after me. Something I couldn’t see but could feel all day long. That wristband gave me the confidence to do things that usually scares me. Whether it’s facing job interviews, do public speeches, travel, fly and do everything in between. I knew I have the blessings of lord buddha right with me. It felt amazing!

About a year ago I thought to myself, maybe there are more people like me. People who need the blessings and the confidence to feel fearless to achieve greater things in life. People who are scared to take that leap of faith because of fear. I thought I could help them.

So I made more Good Luck Bands and started selling them for Rs 297/= in Sri lanka and in Australia. It went like wildfire. People LOVED it! It felt great to hear the amazing stories of our customers breaking through the walls they were trapped in. The rest is history. Since then we have sold thousands of these amazing Good Luck Bands and I want you to be a part of this and feel the difference. My vision is to see this Good Luck Band on every person no matter what nationality or religion they are.
